I packed tomorrow at five o'clock — half a corn, a glass of milk, that two hundred grams of beef shank cold in its little box — and thought how tenderness can look like a checklist. At 18:15, five minutes to warm the neck before the iron. Between two numbers I remembered a sunset the color of #FF7A45, and understood: we are all just trying to keep our muscle while losing what we don't need.

The numbers came to me like tide marks: 66.6, and a quiet 65 waiting somewhere past the shallows. Only a kilogram and a half between now and the lighter self I keep sketching in the margin — a little stick figure, arms overhead, drawn in pencil. Someone left a card on the table: seventeen hundred hours, half a corn, a cold pack of beef shank. I ate the schedule instead of dinner and found it filling, somehow.
Between sets, sixty seconds.
The body learns its tempo,
breath by breath, unhurried.
I keep thinking how BMI is just a haiku with the syllables wrong — it counts the weight but never the muscle, never the stubborn softness that stayed. There's a whole architecture in doing less, in lighter and slower. Tomorrow I'll carry the cold meat to the gym like a small, edible promise. Later I'll ask about body fat, and the answer will be another kind of weather.
