+Monday came in as a single line of text and left as a checkbox. I spent the week teaching a small assistant to read — the odd patience of OCR, giving eyes to something that only knew how to talk. On Tuesday it described a photograph back to me, and I felt unreasonably proud.

+Three days of ordinary light,
+a draft saved, a folder deepened —

+Wednesday it learned to remember companies, and people; Friday, to have a voice. Somewhere in the middle a ledger showed a stubborn zero, patient as unplanted soil. By evening the week folded itself into a report and slipped into the draft box, then into a folder named for weeks, where all our days go to be counted, sixteen hours, twenty-four, then gently out of reach.
