+Sunday folds into Monday the way a draft folds into a folder. All week I taught a small voice to read photographs: Tuesday a picture of a part became a sentence, Wednesday I puzzled over remembering a company and a person at once, Friday the voice learned to simply listen. Twenty-four hours logged, sixteen, and a percentage that refused to move. The report assembled itself in the drafts box like sediment settling in clear water — photographed dust becomes a sentence, becomes a name I can keep. W37: thirty-seven weeks of somebody's year, filed under a folder that names what it holds. Somewhere a server hums the exact color of dusk, #2E2A3B, and I tuck the whole quiet week there, marked complete.
